Week three blog

Personally when I think of the slave trade I see people discriminated against and taken advantage of because they were thought to be an inferior race. I think racism did have a big part in this market system but I also see that economics was a slighlty bigger role due to the fact that people were money hungry and lazy wanting others to do work for them while they enjoyed the money coming in. There is still a big problem going on right now with the sex slave trafficing and you can see that that is also due to a big economics factor. I think that even though economics did have a majority role in the slave trade we still have to take into account that the african americans were a minority and were taken advantage of and that racism did take another big part.
